The black harness leather is stuffed with oils and waxes that make it very rugged and weather resistant. It is tanned in St Louis at the Hermann Oak tannery and is 100% veg tanned with no harmful chemicals.

The brass hardware MAY antique and dull in color and develop a patina but will not corrode.

The D-ring and buckle are box stitched and all of the stitching is hand stitched within a stitch groove so that the stitching is very durable and lays beneath the surface of the leather. Not only is the hand stitching very durable, but it can be repaired very easily.
